Exam Syllabus for A-320 Type Rating

The Airbus A-320 is a popular aircraft type and a type rating is required for pilots to be able to fly it. Written Exam:

Practical Exam:
The practical exam for the A-320 type rating is conducted in a simulator and assesses the pilot’s ability to operate the aircraft in different scenarios. The exam consists of four parts: pre-flight preparation, takeoff, en-route operations, and landing.
Pre-flight preparation: This part of the exam assesses the pilot’s knowledge of the aircraft systems and their ability to configure the aircraft for flight. The pilot must be able to select the correct aircraft systems, enter the correct data into the aircraft’s computer, and configure the aircraft for the flight.
