The Computer Number is a unique identification code provided by the Central Examination Organisation (CEO) of DGCA that is necessary for appearing in all pilot exams. It is recommended that candidates apply for their Computer Number as soon as they receive their 10+2 mark sheets/pass certificates, along with verification from their respective education boards.
To make the process easier, it is advisable to obtain the DGCA computer number before joining a flight school. Once a candidate registers for ground classes for all subjects, we provide complete assistance in applying and obtaining a DGCA computer number.
To access the web-based software application for Flight Crew Licence at http://www.pariksha.dgca.gov.in, the minimum system requirements are Google Chrome version 12 and above, Internet Explorer version 12 and above, Mozilla Firefox, and an internet connection.
An individual email ID and mobile number are mandatory components of the system. All important information, such as Computer Number, Roll Number, Examination Schedules, and Application Status, will be communicated to the candidate via their email address. Each email ID is limited to one candidate only, and the applicant is responsible for protecting their unique login ID and password. DGCA will not be held responsible for any misuse of login credentials.
The password should be a minimum of 8 characters and must include one upper case letter (A-Z), one lower case letter (a-z), one special character (!@#$%), and one numeric value (0-9).
Candidates must have scanned/soft copies of their photograph and signature in JPEG/JPG format. The photograph must be 45mm in height and 35mm in width, with the face measuring 35mm in height and 25mm in width (70% of the photograph). If the name appears different or has been changed due to marriage or any other reason, self-attested copies of amended mark sheet and pass certificate/gazette notification issued by the state or central government for name change and/or the recent passport issued with the current name will be accepted as proof of name change.
The 10th standard certificate and mark sheet of a recognized board or its equivalent, or the birth certificate issued by a Municipal Corporation/Committee, will be accepted as proof of age. For educational qualification, a 10th standard certificate and mark list or matriculation certificate (for PPL, CPL, ATPL, FDEG, FE, and FN examination) from a recognized board or its equivalent, and a 10+2 standard mark list and pass certificate (for CPL, ATPL, FDEG, FE, and FN category) as proof of having passed 10+2 with mathematics and physics subjects from a recognized board or university recognized by COBSE or its equivalent examination, are required. If the applicant does not have 10+2 with mathematics and physics and wishes to use the provision of Rule 47A of Aircraft Rules 1937 as evidence for having flown before 1st January 1994, the attested copies of the first page of their logbook where their personal particulars are mentioned and the page where the Date of First Flight is recorded must be submitted.
Equivalent qualifications acquired by the applicant from boards recognized by CBSE, state government education boards, or AICTE for technical education, will be deemed acceptable.
