The Airbus A330 is a popular aircraft among airlines, and pilots who wish to fly the A330 must undergo specialized training. To become an Airbus A330 pilot, individuals must first obtain a commercial pilot's license. In addition, they must have a minimum of 500 flight hours, and experience flying aircraft with a minimum of two jet engines. After completing prerequisites, pilots can begin the Airbus A330 type rating program. This program consists of Ground School Training, Flight Simulator Training, and Line Orientated Flight Training (LOFT).
