Airline Pilot Training for the CAA Cadet Pilot Program

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Cadet Pilot Program is an excellent opportunity for those who have always dreamed of becoming an airline pilot. To become a CAA Cadet Pilot, applicants must have a valid National Private Pilot License (NPPL) with a minimum of 250 hours of total flight time and a valid Medical Certificate with an ECG carried out within the previous 12 months. The CAA Cadet Pilot Program includes a comprehensive airline pilot training program that includes a variety of ground and flight training courses. Ground school courses include Meteorology, Navigation, Air Law, and Human Performance and Limitations. Flight training includes multi-engine instrument ratings and multi-crew co-operation training. In addition to the theoretical and practical training, applicants must also pass a Psychometric Assessment and an interview with a CAA-approved flight training provider. Upon successful completion of all required training, applicants will be awarded a CAA Cadet Pilot License.
