The IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program with Skyborne offers you an exciting route to the flight deck. With our US FAA-approved course, you will experience an international training experience that incorporates the very best training facilities, fleet and instruction available. On completion, you will receive dual-licences – FAA and DCGA. Having been selected by IndiGo from the start, you will receive support and a Letter of Intent to employ (LOI) from IndiGo Airlines. You will begin your studies in India, before completing your flight training in Vero Beach, Florida USA over 12 months. Once you have achieved your US FAA CPL SEIR, you will then head back to India and complete your DGCA flight conversion. You will then travel to an IndiGo Approved Type Rating Provider for the final stage, your combined MCC and A320 Type Rating.

OVERVIEW
This is a full-time, all-inclusive training program structured to give you everything you need as efficiently as possible. As such, our IndiGo pilot program includes :

Once submitted, one of our Flight Training Advisors will be in touch to ensure you are eligible to apply. If successful, you will be sent an application link for you to submit your application to join the cadet pilot program.
Your application and documents will go through a screening process by our Recruitment Team. Once your application has been verified, you will be invited to take the Skyborne selection process, which is divided into three stages.
There is a non-refundable one-time assessment fee that covers all three stages (providing you are successful at every stage). The selection process will start as soon as the GBP 250 assessment fee has been paid to Skyborne.
Please note all stages are eliminatory rounds.
Stage One: You will be invited to a face-to-face assessment event in Delhi conducted by Skyborne. The assessment will include a variety of aptitude tests, English language and personality questionnaire using the Symbiotics platform.
Stage Two: Group Discussion conducted by IndiGo, in person.
Stage Three: Personal Interview with IndiGo, in person.
Once you clear all three stages, you will be offered a Letter of Intent by IndiGo for a place in the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program.

EDUCATION
Applicants must possess an education level equivalent to 10+2 with at least 51% in each of English, Maths and Physics.
CITIZENSHIP

1. Indian National or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) holder
2. Eligible to hold a US Visa for the purpose of study at technical school (M1 visa)
3. Hold, or be eligible to hold, an Indian passport with unrestricted rights to live and work in India and travel worldwide

MEDICAL
You must hold a current and valid DGCA Class I Aviation Medical Certificate and obtain a US FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate before you commence your flight training.
AGE
You must be aged 18-32 on the first day of the selection process.
LANGUAGE
You must be fluent in English – both written and spoken. As a guide, you must be proficient enough to achieve IELTS level 5.5 minimum, or equivalent English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) test score.
BACKGROUND
We recommend you successfully complete all your DGCA CPL theory exams along with the Technical Specific Paper and Radio Telephony (RTR) exam, before you commence your flight training. However, if you have not completed these exams, or are in the process of doing so, don’t worry – you are still eligible to apply. If your application is successful and you pass the selection process, we will offer you a place on the training program and allow you time to complete your DGCA CPL theory exams with our SKYWORX India DGCA Distance Learning Program before you begin your flight training.

How are cadets chosen?
After applying through our website, your application will be screened against specific criteria. Suitable applicants will be invited to complete online psychometric and aptitude tests and, if successful, will then be invited to attend a one-day assessment with Skyborne. If you pass all these stages, you will be invited to complete the final selection phase with IndiGo.How is the program structured?
It is a prerequisite to have completed your DGCA written exams prior to the commencement of flight training. If you have already obtained this qualification, then you can commence your flight training immediately, However, if you have not completed these exams, or are in the process of doing so, don’t worry – you are still eligible to apply. If your application is successful and you pass the selection process, we will offer you a place on the training program and allow you time to complete your DGCA CPL theory exams with our SKYWORX India DGCA Distance Learning Program before you begin your flight training. Once you’ve been selected by Skyborne and IndiGo, you will embark on your pilot training, comprised of three phases:Phase One: US FAA CPL SEIR (12 months)
This first phase provides you with the training required to obtain a US FAA Part 141 Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR). Training will take place at our fairweather training base, Skyborne Airline Academy Vero Beach, Florida.Phase Two: US FAA to India DGCA Flight Licence
Conversion (2 months)
This phase of training will be completed in India and will require you to take the DGCA-examined flight test to convert your US FAA CPL with IR to DGCA CPL with IR. Skyborne has partnered with training providers in India to deliver this phase of training.Phase Three: Combined MCC & A320 Type Rating
(3 months)In the third and final phase of the program you will complete a combined Multi-Crew Co-Operation Course (MCC) and DGCA approved Type Rating on the Airbus A320. The Type Rating training will be delivered at an IndiGo Approved Type Rating Provider.What are the key features of this program?
