Overview - Air Traffic Control

Air Traffic Control (ATC) is a complex system that coordinates the movement of aircraft in the air and on the ground. It is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and orderly air traffic flow. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) sets the regulations and requirements for air traffic controllers, including the procedures and rules that must be followed. A CPL holder must abide by the following regulations:

1. All aircraft must be flown in accordance with the rules of the air and all applicable federal regulations.
