Safety Certification for the Boeing 787: What Pilots Need to Know

During the recurrent training, pilots will typically review emergency procedures, maneuvering techniques, and other important topics related to the Boeing 787.
Finally, pilots must also maintain their pilot certificate and medical certificate. The FAA requires that pilots renew their pilot certificate every 24 months and their medical certificate every 12 months. Pilots must also take regular proficiency checks to ensure they are meeting the FAA's standards.

Pilots who meet the requirements and complete the necessary training are well-prepared to safely and confidently fly the Boeing 787.
