Course Outline

The CAA IndiGo CPP caters to individuals with no previous flying experience, and who would like to make their career as a pilot with IndiGo. Eligibility
Education & English language
10+2 with minimum score of 51% / Grade Point 6 / Grade C1 (CBSE)Individually in each subject i.e., Physics / Mathematics / English
Candidates with qualifications awarded by the accredited /approved / recognized foreign boards and Universities are to obtain an academic equivalency certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities) for the aforesaid subjects , validating a minimum score of 51% for each subject.

NIOS mark sheet and certificate are accepted with minimum score of 51% in Mathematics, Physics and English individually. (The candidate may apply on the basis of NIOS provisional marksheet however, they must submit the final/original NIOS marksheet before signing IndiGo Cadet Pilot Agreement)

Medical

Able to obtain and maintain Indian DGCA Class 1 Medical Certificate.

The Cadet Pilot Program selection will be conducted in different stages as given below. CAA will review the applications and advise the eligibility status to assess whether the eligibility criteria for IndiGo cadet pilot training program are met. CAA IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program Module

Ground TraningCAA provides each student with 500 hours of Ground Training. The modules included are:

Air Navigation Aviation Meteorology Air Regulations Technical General Technical Specific (SE) Technical Specific (ME) Theory and Practicals of Radio TelephonyFlying Training
Single Engine
185 hours on Cessna-172 aircraft, equipped with Garmin-1000 glass cockpit.
Multi-Engine
15 hours on Diamond DA – 42 aircraft.
Flight Simulator
30 hours on FNPT1 (20 Hours on Single Engine Cessna 172 and 10 hours on Multi-Engine Diamond DA-42 Simulators).
Examination and Tests

The CFI or a DGCA authorized examiner will conduct the Flying Tests in accordance with Indian DGCA rules and regulations.
Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) conducts the written tests in accordance with the published schedule.
The Department of Telecommunications of the Govt.of India conducts the Test for Radio Telephony Restricted License, as per the published schedule.

Type Rating
Type Rating at IndiGo approved TRTO Partner(s) in India or overseas. This is based on the TRTO capacity availability when the Cadet finishes their Flying HoursServices

All DGCA, WPC, Medical, Regulatory paperwork, and clearances.
Boarding and Lodging in clean and high-quality facilities for the full period of the CPP Program.
All Program related conveyance and transportation will also be covered by CAA.
